The privacy policy is a document required by law for each entity that collects personal data about website visitors. The content of the privacy policy should be adapted to local legal conditions and contain information on the applied measures to protect the personal data of users.

This Privacy Policy contains information on processing by Sea Cargo sp. z o.o.  personal data respecting your right to privacy.

All actions taken by us in the field of collecting personal data and the methods of their use are based on the legal provisions contained in:

1. The rules that our company follows when processing personal data.

 

  • We collect personal data only to the minimum extent necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected.

  • We process data only in a manner consistent with the purposes based on legal provisions.

  • We take great care to ensure that the collected personal data is up-to-date and correct, and we respond promptly to any request for rectification or updating.

  • Taking care of transparency, we enable everyone to access their personal data,  to correct them, as well as to remove them, withdraw consent, limit processing, transfer data, object to data processing.

  • We apply restrictions on the storage of personal data only to the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected, unless there are events that may extend the period of data storage.

  • We attach great importance to the protection of personal data against loss, unauthorized access and any unlawful forms of processing.

  • In situations where personal data is shared with other entities, it is done in a safe, contractually secured and in accordance with applicable law.

  • We do not share personal data to third countries.

 

2. What kind of personal data do we process.

 

We only process personal data that comes directly from their owners (or has been provided to us on their behalf) and personal data that has been collected from publicly available sources, in particular: name and surname, e-mail address, contact telephone number, address correspondence.

 

3. For what purposes do we use the collected personal data.

 

  • Building and maintaining business relationships.

  • Communication and performing the necessary activities.

  • In order to perform the contract to which the data subject is party, or to take action at the request of the data subject, prior to entering into the contract.

  • Due to legal issues, when processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests,  carried out by the controller or by a third party, except where these interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, which require protection of personal data.

 

4. In what situations can we transfer data to third parties.

 

  • The personal data collected by us will be shared only with our trusted partners who are subcontractors of our services, i.e. IT service providers, companies analyzing user movements on our website or providing services tailoring the content of the website to the interests of our clients.

  • The data may be transferred to our partners directly involved in the sales service process, including our employees and associates.

  • Personal data may also be transferred to state authorities, i.e. courts or the police - i.e. institutions authorized to do so by law.

  • The data may also be transferred as part of the pursuit of legitimate interests.

  • The data may also be made available upon an express request and with the consent of the owner of the personal data.

 

5. How we process data with the use of cookies and other internet technologies.

 

The website, managed by Sea Cargo sp. z o.o. uses the so-called cookies (special files from a given website, recorded and remembered by a given web browser), which are then saved, for example, on the user's hard drive or in the device's memory. This type of file is used, among others. facilitating navigation on the website managed by Sea Cargo sp. z oo, and may also serve to better remember specific user preferences as part of our website.

6. Consent and consent withdrawal.

 

  • You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data by Sea Cargo sp. z o.o. at any time. You can also request access to your data and information about its processing.

  • They can also be deleted, rectified, restricted or transferred at any time. Just send an e-mail with your request.

  • You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (www.uodo.gov.pl), if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.
     

7. How We Store Personal Data We Collect.

 

We store personal data until implementation  the service we offer, unless we are legally authorized or required to store certain personal data in the following situations:

 

  • if there are unresolved legal issues, such as pending claims or disputes, we will keep the necessary personal data until the problem is resolved;

  • if we are required to retain personal data to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, we will retain the necessary personal data for the period required by applicable law to protect our legitimate business interests.

 

8.  Changes to the Privacy Policy.

 

Sea Cargo sp. z o.o. reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, which will be announced on its website. Any changes will only affect the personal data collected after the changes are posted.
